Who hasn't experienced this? Some days we look dreamily and thoughtlessly into the void, other days, little can loosen up reality. Many descriptions of character types refer to these two opposing states - from "down-to-earth" to "bourgeois", from "dreamy" and "romantic" to "unworldly", the adjectives span a field between "heaven" and "earth". In my experience, we humans need both. As is so often the case, it's the healthy mix that makes the difference. Down-to-earth people have a good "grounding", stick to the facts, whereas the „hopeless dreamer", almost seems to float and has lost his "grip on the ground“.
But what does this mean? Regardless of our own personal orientation and personality coloring and structure, how can we turn our ideas, dreams and conceptions from the air element into seeds that grow out of the earth as trees and bear fruit? In short: How can we manifest what we dream and desire from life? For the "right" manifestation it is necessary to be deeply connected to the elements from which everything is drawn. First and foremost this refers to a good connection between "above" and "below", between "heaven" and "earth". The earth stands for the matter from which everything is formed and created. The "density", the primordial ground or the "feminine" out of which the form is born. "The sky" or the sun for the masculine, fertilizing element, which transmits the spark of creation to the earth as an impulse.
And us? We are acting as a bridge in between and channel these currents, so to speak, which only works properly, if this "channel" is also clear and reaches far enough or is anchored deep enough. Perhaps the third most central point of all this is being centered in the heart space. From there, we are connected to Source, or what is "God" for religious people. The power from which all beings spring and into which all life returns in the end. Only from there is it possible for us to bring really powerful creative impulses into our world. Free from base drives, charged with the emotions that are needed to create: joy, love, devotion, humility. So the first step for any energetic work is always the deep immersion or centering in the heart, in the middle of the chest.
You enter into a deep connection to the earth if you walk barefoot as often as possible, bury your feet in the ground, feel the pulse of the earth through the soles of your feet - observe nature, the plants, insects and animals - listen to the birds, the murmuring of streams and the whispers of the wind as it touches the leaves of the trees. In addition, grounding or earthing as I call it, is part of any meditative practice with depth. If the energy cannot flow freely through the whole body, "blockages" occur. You can test this by breathing deeply in and out and observing how deeply you can draw your breath into your own body. In people with improper grounding, the breath usually only reaches down to the pelvis or abdominal area. Grounding can therefore be improved with breathing exercises that help to "blow through" the energy pathways of the legs. But movement exercises, shaking out the arms and legs, stomping, tapping the legs and the entire body also help to release stuck energy. The meditative earthing and heavening starts, as I said, with the deep centering in the heart space. The letting go of all thoughts until you have arrived deep in the middle of the chest.
From there, you breathe deeply into this space, expand it, let it expand—like a sphere that reaches beyond the body. From here, you let the love from the heart sink down through the body, through the abdomen, through the legs, from there through the earth chakra, about 30 cm below the feet, and again, deeper and deeper through the earth, until it reaches the center of the earth, the spiritual heart of the earth: the earth crystal. From there, the earth sends back its response, the energy flows through the feet up into the heart space. Next, you send this love or heart energy up through the neck, head and higher chakras to the sun - and on to the spiritual sun "behind" the sun, which connects the energy with the great central sun and sends it back to us.
Once these two connections are established and in flux, a torus field is formed by the spiral energies flowing up and down, which surrounds the entire body and prevents impulses "from the outside" from interfering with the field. Any further energetic work, meditation or manifestation can now be carried out really powerfully. The "heavening" and earthing should therefore be "refreshed" several times a day until it takes place all by itself like an automatism.
